Summary: March brings the turning of seasons from winter into spring, the rebirth of warmth and life. However, it seems the season isn't the only thing in the Gardens to shift and change, as unusual behavior from the Queen leads to bizarre transformations in the Gardens that can only be corrected with help from an old enemy.

[OOC] March 15th: How's My Driving
⇒ The official Queen of Hearts HMD will occur on March 15th. Participation is optional, and all participants are expected to be mature.
March 17th: As the spring equinox approaches, the Queen seems even more erratic and out of sorts than usual. Strange alterations begin to transform the environment of the Gardens, born from the thoughts and memories of the Queen and her incarnae. These transformations will take place over a period of several days, and their nature may give the characters a clue as to the history of the Queen and her world.
March 20th: The spring equinox. As the Gardens continue to behave ever more bizarrely than usual, the High Priestess -- unusually forthcoming for once -- approaches the characters with information about the shift in the environment, why the Queen is so unbalanced, and what can be done about it.
⇒ Restoring the Gardens to normal will require retrieving something very important that belongs to the Queen from Echidna, the Mother of Monsters, whose children live in the Caves of the Arimoi. Having previously had poor relations with the Queen and the residents of the Gardens -- some of whom she transformed into monsters for venturing into the Caves -- Echidna will be understandably reluctant to cooperate. Characters will have to demonstrate acts of goodwill toward the monsters in the Caves before she will be mollified. Further details will be in an upcoming plot post.
March 27th: Assuming the characters have managed to pacify Echidna, she will cooperate with the High Priestess and the characters. The Queen and the Gardens return to normal.
