The Pirate Queen is leaving the Garden, so what does that mean for all of you?
At this point in time, the Pirate Queen is not taking on passengers (as she herself has said) but she is willing to bring back items in a few months time.
Will she do this for free? Absolutely not. It's time to barter.
What can I ask for?
Anything that will fit into the ship's hold, though items we deem to be problematic will be given conditions.
How can the Pirate Queen be bartered with?
You can offer anything from homemade cookies to years off your vitality, sense, abilities, or memories. We are willing to be both flexible and creative with any trades that players would like to arrange, but the bottom line is equivalent exchange.
What are the logistics?
You, the player, will make a proposal. We, the mods, will judge your proposal. If we find something lacking in your justification, we will discuss it with you and suggest how it might be improved. We would like to approve everyone, and will work with you to see that happen.
What am I justifying?
That the request made is equivalent with the offer.
Do I have to thread ICly with the Pirate Queen?
No. Only if you would like to.
What is the time limit on this?
ICly, the characters have 24 hours. OOCly, we will give a week for proposals to be submitted, ending on the 11th of December.
When will the Pirate Queen be back with the items?
That's a question.
Do the characters lose what they've traded while she is gone?
Yes. The Pirate Queen takes payment upfront.
Can the characters get back what they trade?
That is a possibility, either as a condition of the trade, or you (or someone else) could make another deal with the Pirate Queen in the future. You should be careful about getting in too deep with her though, she's cutthroat.
Will the Pirate Queen take passengers in the future?
