I don't want to make another comm post because I'm still working on the last one, but I did want to offer this up if anyone wants to take advantage of it:

Since Vivi is playing Drosselmeier's part in the play she will be crafting a bunch of lopsided reject clockwork creatures. Now, Vivi is likely to just smash them when the event is over, but it also occurred to me that they might do well being taken to Antikythera and cared for by the other robots.

You are free to interact with them and do anything you like! I'm just tossing ideas out there :)

or, well, it's going to be, this Friday.

Misery has bad luck. Constantly. The only day she ever gets a break? Friday the 13th, during which she becomes Mother Nature's best friend, and everyone around her gets a little taste of her suffering.

With mod approval, Misery's bad luck is going to be affecting the civilian ladies who are not up in the skies fighting! This, of course, is optional, your girl can continue on as she was, but for those interested, "bad luck" represented in Ruby Gloom is falling/tripping over everything, burning things they were baking, breaking/dropping/ripping things, getting "bad hair days", and other minor but highly annoying stuff like that. Also comically hit by cartoon lightning, but that's a bit harder to pull off. You're welcome to ramp it up if you're feeling cruel enough, huehuehue.

The effects begin at midnight of Friday, and fade on midnight of Saturday. Misery herself is all too familiar with this side effect, so she is available if anyone ICly wants to know what the hell is going on and stuff of that nature.

Some time next week I will be using the crazy wild card effects to bring Zinc back to life!

Wondering what she would do if such a thing were to happen in the Garden, once upon a time, is actually how an AU version of her came to be, and I've been playing that one @ dignity_misery for quite a while now. That's... just a reference though. The long and short of it is, that having the virus shunted to allow her mind to return to its former state mostly just makes Zinc angry over her lover's sheer audacity in playing god over her, and her own submission to it. She's just not a very nice lady, full of anger and self-hate and confusion.

What I wouldn't mind plotting:

A.) A few people to fight with maybe? She will be highly antagonistic and looking for anyone who would succumb to her taunting. She's not superhuman, just... batshit crazy and ferociously angry. I am not opposed to the possibility of her dying from this.

B.) Option B is for grownups only: fuck buddies. Zinc hasn't had sex since she died. This can be hand-waved if you like. She is pretty violent and controlling as a sexual partner. I am... not opposed to crossing battling and sex.

So, if either of these things interest you, or you have any other ideas for something you would like to do with Zinc while she is human and openly brandishing some of the nastier aspects of her personality, just drop me a line!

Less of the plotting and more of an FYI, but anyone who responded favorably to Katina's question about birthdays, or other acquaintances Subaru has heard about — whether Subaru knows them or not! — can consider themselves invited to Katina's Birthday Bash on March 15th!

You can pretend there was some kind of text invitation sent via the mail or, in certain special cases (Excellen and Akiha), in-person coercion involved. Whether the character shows up or not is up to them, but there will be a log put up by... someone... on that day!

If anyone wants to volunteer ICly to help with decorations and gifts and entertainment, plot it out in here! Subaru will probably overdo things and want to do the bulk of it, but someone please keep her from running herself into the ground? ^^;

I was gonna put up an IC post for invitations, but Mach Caliber's broadcast kind of ate all of my tagging time this weekend in the best way. :3a

Hello everyone! As many may have noticed thanks to this Vine post and the log associated with it, Akiha has gone... a little off her rocker.

Numerous factors have caused Akiha's great willpower to finally run thin enough that her demonic blood has taken control of her. She's inverted and is kinda evil and a lot depraved with little regard to life. She craves fresh blood and could easily kill (though there is enough of her willpower remaining that she won't kill). She'll be keeping an eye out over the next few days to attack unsuspecting humans and feed on their blood.

This means I'm looking for a few volunteers to get chewed on by Inverted Akiha (which I will type as AKIHA to help designate the difference between her inverted self and regular self). If she knows a character isn't human, she won't go after them. After all, humans are easier prey and that is the particular blood she wants. If you're interested in having your character nommed on, let me know.

ALSO, since she is doing not nice things to people, any of those hero-types out there that want to try and find out who the demon is and possibly confront her, let me know as well. We can work some things out as Akiha will be inverted until something happens to make her realize she's gone too far. Unfortunately, she is a bit of a sociopath when the demon is in control.

Hiatus/Slow
My next 18 credit hour semester is go go go on Monday. It will take me a while to deal with starting class at 8:30 AM and finishing at 7 PM. I am also having some nasty computer problems that probably won't be resolved until this laptop gets replaced next month, so if it blows up before then, breaks on campus are the only time I'll be able to do much.

C'est la vie.

I am never good at being totally absent when I'm on hiatus, but I will definitely definitely be sssslow.

In my neglect! Zinc will be in her little house on autopilot. Her guests are welcome to do as they like, and should anyone need to catch me, plurk is an awesome bet, because I sit on plurk mobile during my classes 99% of the time.

Plans
Zinc has begun to consider throwing a party in February as well. She is a very quiet zombie and doesn't really take well to a lot of noise and excitement, so uh... it's probably the kind of party where you play scrabble and then go outside to barbecue while the hostess stays in to avoid the rancid smell of cooking meat.

So if anyone wants to help her plan and decorate, it would be some quick and easy CR points and a project, if your girls are bored.

NEW YEAR'S EVE MASQUERADE PLANNING POST

A few OOC guidelines for the party:

—Characters must arrive at the Viridian Pavilion in the mask and dress they were given; after they receive their invitation, they'll find something appropriate in their wardrobe, closet, dresser, or wherever else they keep their clothing.

—The masks are magical. Once put on, they cannot be removed until the stroke of midnight on New Year's Day. Additionally, they possess properties which obscure the identity of the wearer. Even if your character has distinctive features that would be recognizable were they wearing a normal mask (such as unusual hair color or style), other characters will be unable to recognize them. Giving someone their name becomes impossible; they won't feel a sudden inability to say their name so much as a complete lack of interest in revealing their identity.

—There's no magic in the food or drink as a whole, but random items may contain mood- or behavior-altering spells at your discretion.

That said, get your planning on!

(Also, we thought it should be mentioned that there's another party going on at the Tohno Mansion! Feel free to have your characters visit both, or one or the other.)

So, does everyone remember the beginning of the month when Sora mentioned a party? Well, once the even is over, she'll show up on the network again, talking about it. And that means: it's happening.

Sunday, October 30th I will be posting a forward-dated post. (Sunday, so it's still a weekend when most people have off.) It'll be a cute little costume party with "scary" foods and fun and, should people become exhausted, Sora's treehouse will be open for people to sleep in one of the two bedrooms.

Hi all! I'm planning on apping an OC here soon but I'm torn between two of my favorites. So I thought I'd ask all you lovely people for some help! My girls are as follows

Rumia Lavel [journal: Lamia_Souled]
A half Lamia [snake-girl] who comes from a small island where monsters and humans live in harmony, resulting in the existence of many species of half-breed beings. Rumia herself lost her parents before her egg hatched and was raised by a wandering female magican. Currently she is working as a D&D style adventurer to make her way.

Victoria Carter [journal: Eternal_Dolly]
A young women from a near future [2032] earth where medical technology allows for fairly extreme body modification. Victoria herself an isolated girl who has problems dealing life and adopted the persona of a doll in order to cope. This persona slowly became the basis of her personality and world view, which made her incapable of seeing herself as a human being. Taking the doll things to it's logical extreme, Victoria has replaced her arms and legs with porcelain, ball-jointed prosthesis and wears a mask of the same material to hide her emotions. Despite her oddness, Victoria is a good person at heart and just wants attention and love from others.

Enzel here. So, I've got some ideas floating around and I wanted to solidify them/see if anyone was interested in participating. For those who don't know, Xion here has a little problem where she doesn't actually have her own face. Whatever anyone sees when they look at her is heavily dependent on their relationship with her and/or her canonmates.

This also means, since her body is just a blank doll's and her appearance is an illusion, that she can't grow older. At some point, I was considering having her use her favor with the Incarnae (from the phantoms plot) to give her a body of her own so she can be a real girl! That means no more creepy hood. That said! If anyone wants weird face shenanigans, get them now. I was considering giving her a wild card that makes her appear as someone a character cares about, regardless of their relation to her canon. The difference with this and the phantoms is, though, that she can appear physically male to someone else as long as she sees herself as female. (she'll still have the same girly voice, though...)

So, just throwing that out there if anyone is interested.

Second, I was thinking of having persical start up a written advice column of sorts over the Vine. Maybe doing a post a month where people write anonymous requests to her and she'll do her best to answer them! Since she's such a helpful girl and all. (feel free to make the requests as hideous as possible.)

Last but not least, this open log for Gal is still up for anyone who wants to tag in. Including all you new people, come to me! Give me your CR! /noms all of it.

Hello, lovely playerbase~ It's Mira, and I come to you this time with an idea for a bit of fun.

Sure, we all know enough happens in the Gardens to create some delicious drama, but have we ever stopped to consider what the rumour mill might be like? Wonder no more, as the idea being put forth is that of a monthly gossip post for our ladies. Meaning that ICly Miss Sutcliffe is going to be more of her creepy self and watch what you say so that every so often these true-or-not little bits of information can be collected and whatever may ensue shall be enabled.

OOCly, this post is created so that if you have a particular rumour/piece of info you'd like to get in there, you can! It can be as serious as couples you think should hook up to as silly as "The Queen dyes her hair and the chemicals kill her brain cells and that's why she's so absent minded."

Submissions will be open until August 31st, and the post itself will go up on September 2nd.

From now until the end of August, there will be no Fela in your Gardens! She's wandered off into the wild places, and will be lost there until after the event has concluded.

Please feel free to notice, if that is IC for your character.

When she returns, she will have no clue who any of you are or where she lives, so if anyone would like to pick up some brand new CR with her, she will pretty much be a new arrival until she's reunited with the people who can return her memories to her.

If current CR has any ideas, questions, or requests, you guys know you can tell me all about it and I will do my best to answer to it!

Everyone else will still be around and at full speed.

As seen here Sora is planning a six months late surprise birthday party for Xion. This is going to require some discussion, of course, so this post is mostly for that. Venue, who makes the cake, etc etc.

But the second purpose is a request: any nosy people out there who want to play matchmaker for these two derps? They've been making cute faces at each other for a while, but they need a little push, and a party is probably the best time to do so.

Thought I'd get a reading on if you guys (restlessdevil gun_cata tasercopter body_horrible) would like a log, so that your various ladies can talk to someone... other than Dot XD

And if so when you'd like it. We're on the verge of a weekend, but Miss Zenobia mentioned a house party, the two could be interwoven at a later date, perhaps?


Dot also has no objection if other people would like to join, it's not a closed offer, those four were just the ones she'd already talked to in her post about a group game.

Anyway, just gimme your thoughts/interest/availability and we'll see from there!

eta: Well, the majority of my ladies were in, so here's a log. Dot will obviously be there, but the main point of making it was to let the other ladies talk to each other, so don't even feel bad about doing your own thing with it.

plot organization and planning post

This would be the post in which everyone organizes their characters into teams for the quest into the wild places as described here. Feel free to chat amongst yourselves, plan things out, describe what you want to happen to your characters, work out tagging order for threads, etc. The mods and NPCs won't be involved in this one unless you need us specifically to arbitrate something, this is entirely a player-planned event.

We'll have up a log for folks to tag into later today. What happens during the event is up to you, keeping in mind the goal of retrieving the stones and returning to the Gardens with them. Some pointers:


♡ The wild places are constantly changing and shifting as a result of their inherently unstable nature. It is possible for characters to find their way back out again on their own, but they will rarely return to the Gardens in the exact same place and at the exact same time that they left, hence why this log goes on for a few days (that and to give people time OOCly to tag).

♡ Characters don't know exactly what it is they're looking for, but they will have the feeling they've found something important once they've found one of the stones and may deduce that they've found what they went in to look for. Each character in a group should generally have to find their own stone.

♡ The memory-phantoms are still hanging around in the areas nearest the wild places as well as within the wild places themselves, where they are even more numerous than in the Gardens. However, you don't need to have your characters encounter a phantom or phantoms again if you don't want them to.

♡ As indicated, once all the characters involved have come back from the wild places with their stones, the phantoms will cease to appear.
