plot organization and planning post

This would be the post in which everyone organizes their characters into teams for the quest into the wild places as described here. Feel free to chat amongst yourselves, plan things out, describe what you want to happen to your characters, work out tagging order for threads, etc. The mods and NPCs won't be involved in this one unless you need us specifically to arbitrate something, this is entirely a player-planned event.

We'll have up a log for folks to tag into later today. What happens during the event is up to you, keeping in mind the goal of retrieving the stones and returning to the Gardens with them. Some pointers:

♡ The wild places are constantly changing and shifting as a result of their inherently unstable nature. It is possible for characters to find their way back out again on their own, but they will rarely return to the Gardens in the exact same place and at the exact same time that they left, hence why this log goes on for a few days (that and to give people time OOCly to tag).

♡ Characters don't know exactly what it is they're looking for, but they will have the feeling they've found something important once they've found one of the stones and may deduce that they've found what they went in to look for. Each character in a group should generally have to find their own stone.

♡ The memory-phantoms are still hanging around in the areas nearest the wild places as well as within the wild places themselves, where they are even more numerous than in the Gardens. However, you don't need to have your characters encounter a phantom or phantoms again if you don't want them to.

♡ As indicated, once all the characters involved have come back from the wild places with their stones, the phantoms will cease to appear.

Batgirl will throw herself straight back into the fray, and lead a team. Participants will be well protected, entertained, and possibly be given gooparangs.

Mi-na doesn't know many people yet, but she will be going. If someone who does know her would like her in their group, or if someone who doesn't would like to run into her while in the wild places, let me know! :3

Sephiroth and Reeve are going together into the wild to find magical jewels! Since Reeve's player will be away for the weekend, Seph will be pulling Reeve's strings most of the time.

Anybody may come along!

Caprica is very unhappy with the Queen right now and not inclined to do something like go play fetch for her, but at the same time... she doesn't want the phantoms to stay, either. And in the end she is more of an active than a passive character, so she'll end up going. If anyone wants to keep her company (previous CR or not), she's not going to object.

OOCly I would rather not more than about five people or so go with her, just so that the thread doesn't get too unwieldy.

I can call it that, right? We don't have an AD cast, sadly.

Anyway, I have Zenobia and Vivio from the other post. Anyone else? Tenshi and Kazumi? Three years in the fandom and I STILL mix up the Vi names.

One of these days I'll buy an edit button for my constant failure.

Xion is officially with Alfimi so far, and Claire's got no one yet.

Sette couldn't care less about the phantoms ruining everybody's day, and she sure isn't setting foot in no magic forest for a bunch of people she doesn't even know. She'll be staying behind, thank you.

Soooo, who wants to have their valuables nicked by her while everyone else is off putting themselves in mortal danger?

Okay, so, Sasha has been left in the wilderness mauled by her phantom (http://queenoflogs.livejournal.com/23857.html#cutid1). If anyone wants to find her that would be ace. IF NOT, THAT'S FINE TOO, YES? Yes. I would prefer if it was someone she has interacted with before so she doesn't freak out too much.

She will freak out anyway. But you know. A little less.

I'd like to throw Gavril in here somewhere. She couldn't care less about the phantoms but has grown bored just sitting around and wants to fight something~

Jessica's womanning the fortress in case Shit Gets Real, and would like to have anyone with better-than-first-aid fixing skills around for potential, uh, needing-to-use-those-skills purposes.

Nadie still doesn't really know that many people, but she is always and forever curious. Also, mysterious stones are totally canon for her.

Anyone up for some simple exploring? MAYBE SUPER SLEUTH STYLE
